Impact of Covid-19 on services: meeting and survey feedback

 ​We would like to use this space to thank you for your participation in our most recent on-line Survey investigating current provision of BoNT-A services in time of COVID19. Your responses highlighted the need to share practice and discuss a range of concerns. Survey responses indicated that majority of services stopped injecting (74% stopped completely) often with no definite plans to reopen. The survey very clearly highlighted the issues that clinicians will be faced with once their services  reopen – the concerns around the safety of vulnerable patients and staff and many around capacity and new ways of service delivery with continuous adjustments to on-going government guidance. 

On Monday, 1st of June paediatric BoNT-A injectors came together to network and discuss the impact of Covid-19 in toxin injection services within the paediatrics population nationwide.​ We are pleased that  BNN Paediatrics could become platform hosting these discussions, fulfilling one of many visions of our group. The exchange of information was very useful and reassuring and hopefully it will be on-going in our forum. therefore we would like to extend our invitation to discussion in our forum…
